How to make Strawberry Pie.

• Ingredients:

• 2 (9 inch) unbaked pie crusts

• 1 -1 1/4 cups of sugar[depending on how sweet you want the pie]
• 1/3 cup of corn flour 
• 1tsp ground cinnamon
• 4 cups fresh strawberries-chopped in chunks
• • 1 tbsp butter/margarine.
    
  • Method:
  • 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Place one of the crusts in a 9 inch pie plate.
    2. Mix the rest of the ingredients together. Pour filling into pastry lined in the pie plate. Dot the mixture with the butter. Cover with the remaining crust, and cut a slit[s] on it. Seal and press down the edges with fork or finger. Give it a quick egg wash.
    3. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes , or until the crust is golden browned.
    5. Enjoy!

Found this lovely recipe on Robin Hood baking Centre, tried it out and it was amazing. Though i changed a few thing in it to suit my need. Give it a try you will love it.

Perfect Flaky Pie crust Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter or margarine, well-chilled
4-8 tbsp ice cold water

Method:

1. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt.
2. Cut chilled butter into tiny cubes.  Work in cubes into flour mixture, using a fork or blender, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
